Separation of Church and State... That's wrong!

Separation of Church and State... That's wrong! Actually it is separation of State from Church.

The First Amendment to the Constitution states,"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for redress of grievances."

Why bring this up? if you have not been listening and watching you'd have heard that the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) is establishing a method to bring our churches into obedience/submission of the current governments progress toward socialist goals and control. How are they going to do this, under the guise of greening our environment and by providing loans to churches to build "green buildings and other green related items."

This has been the same method the Government has utilized over the past 1.5 years in controlling the banks (TARP), Education (NCLB and now the new $4 Billion competitive program this year for schools), The mortgage industry (the government owns 98% of all mortgages in the country Freddie Mac & Fannie Mae), The recent take over of all student loans in the country (part of the Healthcare bill), Healthcare itself, The current attack on Wall Street (have you seen the Market crashing this and last week (government regulation), The attack by the government thru the FCC to control the Internet (Net neutrality), The attacking of the Free Press and anyone to speaks out as guaranteed in the 1st Amendment stated above (calling them everything from stupid to racist, bigots, to red necks, etc...

The evidence is overwhelming that the government is slowly but surely on the course to destroy all aspects of the 1st Amendment.

Once a church becomes indebted to the government the Government has all the power. They literally may control the pulpit. All you need to do is look at the recent past to verify this trend. As the bible says, once you accept a handout (loan) you become the slave of the lender. You only need look as far as our educational system, banks, wall street, Social Security, welfare, food stamps and etc... they are the examples placed right in-front of us. Don't let your church get caught up in this scheme.

What can we do? Know what is happening in your church and defend it from any Government intrusion. Educate those in your church and other churches and don't fall prey to this gift horse which looks beneficial but is really an attack on God and our religious freedom which is guaranteed by the Constitution.

This is not the first nor the last time the Government has attempted to seek control through the church by providing monies, nor will it be the last. This control of the church (the Church of England headed by King George) was a main contributor to the our Revolution. Learn your history, the history they don't want you to know... History doesn't lie but it is often manipulated by those who are in power so that you learn only what they would have you learn.

I encourage you to take time to look, listen and research for yourselves. The time for the majority to speak is now for we have been too silent for too long. Don't put it off, you may not have the opportunity later and later may be here before you know it.
